Lost Best Friend

This morning I lost my best friend to cancer... She was the most amazing woman that I've ever known and like a second mom to me. If it wasn't for her I don't know how I would have made it through treatment, myself. She made me laugh and always made me feel that I could beat cancer. I loved her more than words can express and though I know life goes on, mine will have a huge hole in in, along with my heart.

Always be there for your friends with cancer... You never know how long they will be with you.

Hugs,
Angie

My condolences Angie....even when we're dealing with the same beast, it's hard to see another fall. I hope that you can find some peace over time....the 'hole' will always be there, but the edges will get less raw.

God Bless,

Jim

It's taken me a couple weeks to get a grip, as she hid how bad she was. Darned chemo did nothing changed nothing on the cancer, but destroyed her heart! Clearly, at the end she knew it was a mistake and warned us that we weren't to be mad because it was her decision. Still frustrates me how two different doctors can treat the same cancer so differently.

BUT according to her wishes, I'm to get my butt writing and get the books I've been talking about get done. I had hoped she'd be able to read the one on cancer survival, but will be dedicated to her none-the-less.

I'm doing better and going to now head over to the paranormal board to see what's hopping there.

Hugs,
Angie

Well, she's in a better place now....no more ouchies, no more sickness, no more feeling run down.

Things at the Paranormal board....are ..... paranormal, like always
