My father was diagnosed in May 2010 with stage 3 lung cancer . At the time of his diagnosis we were told he had 6-9 months to live. He elected to undergo radiation treatment only which he will complete
next week (33 treatments). He has not had any side effects at all from
his treatment . He shows no outward symptoms from his disease . He
has no problems breathing, no loss of appetite etc. This goes against
everything that his doctor told us would happen when he was diagnosed in May. I am confused what to expect in the coming months ?
I'm sorry to hear about your father. I know you are going through a tough time right now trying to stay positive while still thinking about what may lie ahead.
I'm sure someone from our community that is caring for another loved one with cancer will chime in soon to offer support.
