Took Mama to the hospital yesterday after stroke symptoms. No stroke...they think, but they kept her overnight for more tests. Any tips for managing the hospital?

Part of it went well--they had free and very fast wi-fi, so I didn't need to miss work while keeping an eye on her.

They changed her aspirin regimen and supplemental oxygen.

On the other hand, it was super stressful as a caregiver and a daughter. She got me confused with my sister who doesn't live here, became very argumentative, etc.

She is doing a lot better now, but still frail.

It's a rough road to walk, both as caregiver and daughter. Hang in there.

I'm the caregiver for both my parents and my in-laws. It's a juggling act but I wouldn't have it any other way.
