gluten sensitivity

For years I've had burping and bloating issues. Just this morning I decided to look at the ingredients in the bread I was eating and saw that gluten was listed. I know people on gluten free diets and all of a sudden I put 2 and 2 together. I thought: "is it possible that all these years I've had sensitivity to gluten and didn't know it"? I'm still not convinced. I don't have other symptoms of celiac disease like weight loss so I wonder if the relentless belching and bloating (sometimes it feels and looks like I have a basketball under my shirt - and I'm a slim guy) has to do with sensitivity to gluten. Anyone else have any of these symptoms?

hi.. this is very common for persons having Gluten Sensitivity.. Even almost every patient have different symptoms to gluten.. So, Just avoid gluten for some days, and if you realize magical changes in your tummy then you have GS.. Otherwise consult any gynecologist (just kidding) I mean a doctor..
My 6yr daughter named JOVIAL has GS since 2yrs, and she is doing very well with gluten free diet..

In my 20s I ate nothing but wheat products--bread, cereal, cookies, pasta, pizza crust, etc. I thought the excessive gas and stomach pain was just a normal part of life!

Then in my 30s it got worse to the point where I had heard about gluten and thought that maybe I should eliminate it. Wow! What a difference! No (noxious!) gas or bloating or stomach pain anymore! I never got tested, but I KNOW I have a gluten sensitivity!

Every once in a while I'll reach for that white bread/panini roll (my husband's) because it has less gluten (and I'm out of my gluten-free bread), but I always wake up the next day with a couple zits, so I know it's an inflammatory food for me.
