We tried 2 mixes found at Safeway tonight and they were great--

--Arrowhead Mills GF Pizza Crust Mix
--Betty Crocker GF Brownie mix (add chopped pecans)

GF Cream of Buckwheat (not wheat)

tried GF noodles and not too fond of them.

Thanks for the tips on gluten-free products. I just bought the BC GF Brownie mix so I'm anxious to see how it is.

I have found that De Boles GF rice spaghetti is pretty good. I also like Annie's GF Mac and Cheese (add shredded mild cheddar for more cheese flavor).

I have yet to find a loaf of "bread" that is worth the exhorbitant price. Oh, I have found decent pizza crusts from Schar (they are like Boboli crusts). Not awesome but at least I can make myself a GF pizza now.

Thanks again!

please try UDI's white or multi grain gluten free bread. I, like you, craved a decent bread, and after many dissappointing attempts, went to Health food store, and gave this a try. AMAZING now I have grilled cheese sandwiches, roast beef on bread, even toast. It's a bit pricey, as most GF products, but well worth it

Get you a bread machine and make your own. I did and now I can have white bread, banana bread, cranberry bread, etc. Worth the expense.

I just purchased a bread machine....but I dont know where to start. How do you make bread w/o milk, eggs, gluten and soy. lol so the experimenting begins....i just found an egg replacer by Ener G fooods. Almond milk, coconut milk or rice milk. BUT...
My problem is finding a soy free butter alternative. Anyone have any clue on this one?

Thanks for any help.

Earth Balance makes a nice soy free buttery spread. I've used it and thought it tasted quite good. I'm able to buy it at the two smaller health food stores in my area. Some Shop Rite food stores also carry Earth Balance buttery spread. Hope you find it in your area.
