When our cholesterol is checked triglycerides are in the equation. Where do we get the triglycerides from? Mine goes up when everything else goes down.

The body generates triglycerides.
They are another type of fat in the blood and form a type of cholesterol; VLDL (very low density lipids).

They seem to come from excess carbs. Specially from large amounts of refined carbs, mostly refined flour and added sugars of all types.

PS

High levels of triglycerides are often associated with insulin resistance and diabetes and other diabetic like conditions.
