Wow, take a look at this thread I stumbled onto at another site, what an incredible and pertinent story;

I feel much better today, and the cause of my heart attack was my own fault, and I think it's important to explain why, and put certain ideas about natural healing over medication to bed once and for all.
As you all probably know, my left artery was opened up in 2009, and it also had a LIMA vessel previously grafted still open too. I lost my Wife in April 2012 and I went to pieces. I stopped my Statins/Aspirin and Clopidogrel because I didn't want to go on living. About three months ago I visited my cardiologist and he convinced me to restart my Statins, but maximum dosage. It was too late. As I had got away with no meds for over a year, I felt I didn't really need them. I was beginning to wonder if they were just hype, but I can assure you THEY ARE NOT. I did start my statins but not the Aspirin and Clopidogrel. The Angiogram done on Thursday morning revealed the top stent in my LAD was blocked and so we assume I was fed by the bypass LIMA vessel. This closed up fully on Wednesday morning, giving me heart attack. My Left Circumflex and right artery are clear, and VERY luckily, after 20 minutes of the attack, collaterals sprung into action, feeding from the Left circumflex to the LAD. This is why the pain stopped. My EF is still 70% and no muscle damage, how lucky is that. I have no idea what they can do, if anything, because the LIMA is full of solid plaque, and the blocked stent at the top of the LAD is huge. It looks as though I will be very limited by exertion again. I am back on beta blockers, blood pressure meds, statins, proton pumps and various other things. I can say without a doubt that medication IS VERY IMPORTANT and please DON'T LISTEN TO SILLY CONSPIRACIES. I nearly killed myself, which is what I wanted to achieve in April 2012, but not anymore. I have come to realize my three children (although adults) need me around. It isn't easy sharing my stupidity but I really want others to learn from this.
Thank you for your kind messages.
