I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET MY CHOLESTEROL DOWN WITHOUT STATINS AND FINALLY I AM GETTING SOMEWHERE. I STARTED TAKING PANTETHINE 300 MG. TWICE DAILY AND I ALSO EAT OATBRAN AND GROUND FLAXSEED FOR BREAKFAST. I WALK DAILY AND KEEP MY WEIGHT DOWN BUT UNTIL I ADDED THE PANTETHINE, IT STILL WASNT COMING DOWN. I CAME DOWN FROM 240 TO 217 TOTAL CHOLESTEROL...130 TO 117 LDL AND MY HDL IS 81 AFTER 10 WEEKS OF PANTETHINE I EAT A LOT OF ALMONDS WHICH I KNOW RAISES MY GOOD CHOLESTEROL. I WILL DO ANYTHING TO KEEP FROM TAKING STATINS BECAUSE OF THE SIDE EFFECTS SOME PEOPLE GET.

I will tell my Doctor about PANTETHINE 300 MG. I do take oatmeal porridge and almonds. I also take flaxseed for breakfast in winter. I am not able to tolerate it in the summer of India.

How are your cholesterol number doing? What brand of Pantethine are you taking. I am in the same boat and I am looking for a natural alternatives to medications. I am giving myself 3 months to get my cholesterol and blood sugar down and cleaning up my diet.

Best Regards:
Ann
