There are many laws to protect people with disabilities in this country from being discriminated against, such as the American with Disabilities Act, www.ada.gov and the Fair Housing Act, www.hud.gov . It is so very frustrating to know your rights are being violated and to have to advocate for what you are entitled to by law!

How have you handled situation when you have been discriminated against. Do you have any advice for others?
