We've talked here before at the Health Insurance Navigator about the federally funded high-risk insurance pools created by the Affordable Care Act, or Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plans (PCIP).

"The topic now bears repeating given that effective July 1, the plans come with a cheaper price tag." Find out more from Lisa Zamowsky about your options, whether you live in a state that had a Federally run option, or a state-managed option.

Have you looked into PCIPs? What did you decide?
