crazycoach1 posted:
34 YR. OLD MALE injured shoulder at work. Shoulder pops in and out of place. Hand and fingers are numb 24 hrs. a day. Shooting pain down my arm. M.R.I. completed.
Impression: Glenohumeral osteoarthric changes with fissuring of the glenoid labrum. Acromioclavicular osteoarthritis. I have been to 10 therapy sessions with no success. Arm and shoulder are getting worse. Nerve induction test was also a failure. Is the next step Surgery? They cant expect me to live with this pain for ever, can they?

Thanks,
Jason

Welcome Jason--I am very sorry to hear about your injury. Unfortunately this community has no Health Experts.

I would encourage you to get a second opinion if you have concerns about your current treatment plan. Even if it was a work injury, you may have a right to get a second opinion--please check your options.

Additionally, you may want to ask for a consult with a pain management specialist. I hope you get some answers and relief soon.

Let us know how you're doing,
