Hi, I'm 18, about 40 pounds into obesity(250 pounds), my diet is O.K.(meaning I don't eat like an average teenager, no massive amounts of junk food or sugars and stuff like that) and I don't have any diseases or genetic defects of any kind(or at least that I know of). I'm also not a very active person(which I've determined is the cause of my obesity), I don't go to college for financial reasons, so I stay at home almost 24/7 on my computer. The only reasons I've ever been to see a doctor have been: physicals growing up, illnesses such as flu and cold, strep throat, and an inner ear infection(also in that order). So with that in mind, I have this... whatever... that is EXTREMELY hard to describe, and I find myself doing so at an increasing rate... The closest thing I can relate it to is a seizure. I lose control of the muscles in my legs, feet, hands. arms, and face, causing my body to do a strange type of contortion where my arms curl inward, my legs don't really move toward a specific direction so much as opposite the way I will them to, and my face gets really funny looking where my lips kind of pucker up and my eyebrows furrow. I do retain control over my body parts, they just express a deep desire to move a certain way O.o For example; I was climbing down off my roof on a very tall ladder and it started happening(probably due to the motion of me mounting the ladder), my legs wanted to curl inward, rather than keep straight so as to keep footing on the ladder, and my hands started de-gripping, so I forced my grip on the ladder step and forced my feet to keep planted. This has never been life threatening, or so to the point where I thought it would threaten my life, more of just an annoyance because it's rather embarrassing when this happens in public, I sort of look mentally retarded(in my opinion) as if I don't have control of my limbs and they move freely about. The longest I can ever remember this effect lasting has been at most 20 seconds. The only time this effect happens is very selective to when I make a quick movement while sitting or laying down, and when I stand up/sit up(or make a motion to do so), and even then it's not guaranteed to happen whenever I perform these actions. As random as it's occurrence may be it only has a chance of happening during these actions, but it happens I would say... 60-80% of the time. And of course it never happens when I'm trying to show it to someone. Now, I haven't had this my entire life, rather only recently... now that I think back on it, I can only remember this happening after my run-in with that ear infection. I've taken time to think about my life in terms of the actions I take for daily experiences(like if I jump around too much or hit myself too much, I don't know why... I've just heard of certain conditions that can be caused by this kind of thing at early stages of peoples' lives) due to suggestion, but the only thing I do too much is masturbate(if possible) and get frustrated at video games. I know that there's the possibility I could have certain conditions such as diabetes and epilepsy and all that crap but I've looked into some of them and the symptoms don't really correlate with what I'm experiencing. I'm not saying I'm certain I don't have those conditions, just that I feel I don't. Now obviously I haven't gone to see a doctor about this, or even a specialist like some family members have suggested(even then what kind of specialist?). So please, if you've taken time out of your day to read this and happen to know a thing or two, let me know something that may or may not lead to my curing of this... whatever... or just something that might help with coping with it.
