I am a 21 year old female and about 2 years ago I started getting a sharp shooting pain in my right side (hip area). The next day I had severe Pailin my lower back and pelvic area/lower abdomen. The pain has not subsided once since then and has only gotten debilitatingly worse. I now have the same pelvic/lower abd. And lower back pain but worse, along with sharp shooting pains in my hips and my butt and down my legs. It feels like I have barbed wire wrapped tightly around my hip bones. I also have some other strange symptoms such as lack of sensation in my one big toe and part of the same foot, and a difference in sensation down the same leg. I get numbness and tingling down my legs as well. Also, I have not had a period for almost 8 months now and am not on birth control. I am constantly over-fatigued, usually falling asleep at work after only being awake for an hour or 2. My legs are very weak, and I have recently started experiencing lack of feeling from time to time as well as complete leg weakness where I can barely hold myself to stand up. Also when I tilt my neck back a certain way I get what feels like an electric pulse or shock throughout the core of my body. I also experience bladder incontinence and frequent urges to urinate, but the weird part is that other times or even the same time when I feel I have to urinate badly, it is very hard for me to start to go. Out of all the symptoms the pain is definitely the worst followed by the fatigue. The pain phase kept me from living my life normally, I can barely go to work most days and have missed so much time because I am in so much pain. Sometimes even tho I am incredibly tired I can't fall asleep due to the extreme pain. I have had numerous tests done including mri's of my thoracic and lumbar spine, abd ct scans and ultrasounds, even laparoscopic surgery to "look around", all coming back with no answers. My family dr has taken forever to refer me to specialists, but I have seen 2 different gynos and a pelvic pain specialist who is in the process of sending me to yet another gyno and also I am waiting to see a psychiatrist because my family doc thinks it could all be in my head.

It has been 2 years now that I have been in this pain and I have also become depressed and also developed alot of anxiety to the point where I am having frequent panic attacks now. I am so scared andfeel so alone, no one has figured anything out except the 2 gynos I saw said it wasn't gynecological, and the doctors believe the pains are nerve related but still have no clue why. If anyone has any thoughts on what could be going on, or what I should do/ persue next that would be great, anything will help. Thanks for your time. Casey

Hi thanks for replying. On Wednesday I actually lost feeling in my legs completely after they were buzzing or vibrating very aggressively for 2 hrs straight and couldn't even stand so I went to emerge at a bigger hospital and they brought down a neurologist who examined me and is sending me for tests. He also took 20 vials of blood to do long shot tests.
