Vitamin D and Chronic Pain *****so important

MiMi in NC....and I would encourage anyone who has chronic pain and even those who don't.....ask your doctor to check your Vitamin D level.....this is so very important....a simple blood test but you MUST ASK the doctor to run it.....

Again....Vitamin D might help the way you feel....what do you have to lose? Nothing.....and you might be quite surprised in how much this might help.....

Low Vitamin D causes Additional pain for us.....I am speaking from experience....

No replies as yet? odd I know it sounds like another silly crank selling OTC junk. But to my surprise this actually works.

I've been in severe pain for almost 10yrs on Workers Comp so I don't get much help. My current pusher/doctor just nods and writes the monthly perseription no longer careing if anything helps or not. I know I'm pretty burt-out on the Workers Comp system but to get almost nothing is almost more than I can take. Anyway for some reaso I decided to try the Vitimin D on my own 1k IMU at first, and I can't say how surprised to find it srarting to work! No blind faith here. I have paid for some stupid things knowing they can't work, acupuncture, streaching ect. My problem is T7/T8 so surgery is I'm told out of the question. I'm only 46 I really have no idea how long I can hold out alone like this. none of my family, Doctors or anyone else wants to know I'm in pain or how bad it is. If not for my cats I'd have done myself in yrs ago.

What I'm trying to say is try it it's not expensive and if it doesn't work after one bottle don't waste more time on it. I couldn't even afford the blood test so I have no idea what my levels are, so I'm still playing with dosage. Good Luck!

If you can't afford a test it's not the end of the world, just buy one bottle start at 1000 IMU and see what happens the worst is that after a week you'll feel no different; go at least 3 weeks before giving it up. if you feel a bit better at 1k after a month go to 2k the worst that can happen is no change I haven't found and upper limit for vitmin D so don't sweat that

I'm on Workers Comp so I can't get fancy things like blood tests, .Unless it's for drugs (thanks FDA) So I had to do all the research myself. I find for me it did work. I'm at 2k twice a day. I might go up again in a few weeks well see how I feel.

Hello Catzkeeper......MiMi in NC....I am so glad that you shared your experience with us.....I have been on the Vitamin D supplement for several years now and I can not tell you what a difference this can made in my life....

I would also encourage you to try Omegas, if you do not already take them....

I know that a lot of people think I have not really figured out how to "control my FM pain"....but since I could not take any medicines without a lot of side effects....then I had to do something....so I tried different vitamins and supplements until I found those which truly helped me....it took me a long time to do this also....

There are days when I would like to shout out to the world....just how important Vitamin D can be to us....

Take care and good luck...
