Fibrosarah posted:
Today is the day to remember all the men and women who have served or are serving in the armed services to protect and give/gave us our freedom.

And to the many who have lost their lives in the line of duty, A day of rememberance. Yes Jim, you and your daughter come to mind. Many thanks for the time you gave for our country!

Thanks for getting it right Sarah.....too many just think of it as a holiday to party and eat hot dogs until their brains explode.

Much appreciated.

This is true, Sarah. And as I write this, I think of my nephew, Adam. He's no longer in the Army, but spent many years over-seas; Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan. I also think of the veterans and active duty men and women.

GOD BLESS THEM

Without them, where would this country be?

Thank you for reminding us of the importance of this day.

Hugz,

Karen

Yes, Sarah;

It is a day of "Remembrance" which I think many forget.

Lucky are we, as a country, that we have dedicated men and women who work and have worked to protect our freedom.
Those that are willing to give their lives for the never-ending battle to gain "Peace".

Kat
