Hi everyone, hope the past few weeks have been kind to you!

I had my surgery on the carpal tunnel one week ago, and have wizzed thru that. It's actually better than I thought. I go next week to have my soft splint taken off and the stitches out. He found that my nerve was badly damaged. I'll talk to him and see if there will be any ill effects from the surgery.

The week and weekend before the surgery I worked like a crazy woman out in the yard trying to finish all that I started, forgot all about cleaning the house,LOL. So it still needs it bad.

We got Trevon to State Police camp and dropped him off, his mom was ready to cry and that had me choked up, so I had to hurry up and get out of there. He had so much fun, he graduated on Saturday so I made the 4 hour round trip to go watch. He sure was saying a lot of yes sir and yes mam's. His dad said that he could just keep that up!

Hubby finally got our upstairs bath gutted out. Oh we found mold, so have to deal with that and make sure we get it all. All that's in there is the floor joices and wall studs! I'll be so glad to get it done so I don't have to wake up to potty and run down stairs!

We've sure had some storms roll thru here. They don't usually bother the dogs but last night we had a bad one with wind gusts up to 60mph. They sure had their ears up and seemed a little nervous. Several tornados were up north of us.

So that's me in a nutshell, I hope and pray everyone is okay. I'll read up later when I get back home. Take care and hugs all around. Toodles........

Hugs and Misses,

Kim

Well, hello Stranger!

I'm glad your wrist is doing better. Mark had to have both of his done, a year apart. His were caused by using tin snips. Weird, huh? I understand how you feel.

Wish we could get some rain. It always looks like Amarillo is getting rain, but we don't. Everyone around us is getting slammed but we're high and dry, literally. Maybe if we got some rain, we'd get rid of some of this humidity. (smiles)

But all in all, we're okay. I've been sleep deprived for a while now and it's really starting to show. I used to think it was my lymphoma causing it (was for a bit) but now the therapist just wants to increase my sleep aids I don't take anyway. He doesn't get that they don't do any good. What a guy.

So anyway, I'm glad you're back. I was worried about you but still zoned out on my own stuff. I apologize.

Hugz,

Karen

Glad to hear you are feeling much better with the wrist. It sounds exciting that Trevon was able to go to the police camp. A good experience for kids. We don't have anything like that out here. Not that I know of.

Wow, this weather is something else, never know what to expect. I see OK is still having severe storms and flooding.

And Southern CA had a 5.9 or so earthquake last night. Caught a little bit of the news, and they momentarily halted the baseball game when it hit. Showed poles etc, swinging in movement.

That was in San Diego. I am headed to SD in July! Please, no earthquakes then, LOL.

Have a good day, and continue on the path of healing good. Good thing you at least found the mold in BR, before it got worse.
