Hello everyone!

I've read the posts and want you all to know that your in my thoughts. I just don't have the energy to reply to everyone, sorry. I'll try to in a day or two.

It's been a brutally hot summer here in Central MA. We are now bracing for the Hurricane that is coming up the coast. Hubby and I are going to the Cape after Labor Day and I am keeping fingers crossed that the weather will be nice and there will not be too much damage from Mother Nature.

I'll be very happy when Fall arrives and the humidity goes away for a few months. A few more days of 90-100% humidity expected in our area. Lungs do not like that.

Although, I am very-very grateful for AC; I can't wait for the natural cool breezes to be coming through my window!!

Peaceful thoughts to all,

Kat

Hi Kat,

I wish you lower humidity. Humidity that high would be totally unbearable for. It's like that in Dallas and my sister lives near there. Each time we visit her, it's so uncomfortable. Here in the Texas Panhandle we think we have high humidity when it's up in the 40-50%.

Have a good weekend.

Hugz,

Karen
If your parents never had children, chances are you won't, either.

A/C is the next greatest invention after the wheel and penicillan for me.

I wouldn't be able to breathe with such humidity either and I'm glad it'll be over for you soon. (((hugs)))

Thanks for checking in and may your Labor Day weekend be a nice and relaxing one.

Hi Kat...gads...4 AM!!?? Yikes....hopefully the hurricane won't tear things up too much. They've downgraded it to a Cat 3 now, so maybe it'll just be a good soaking when it gets to where you are. I'm personally glad that it's down as Amy and Aisha live in Norfolk, Va...not that far from where it's supposed to make landfall - oog!

I can identify with the lungs not liking the humidity...mine too (what I have left)...ever since the cancer and the emphysema, etc. my lungs aren't real happy with the heat and humidity...heck, they're not happy with the cold and humidity...but the ticker prefers the cooler weather if it's going to be damp.

A/C is a beautiful thing, eh?

Hope you have a great weekend there, and Momma Nature doesn't tear things up too badly.

Jim
