I hope everyone's doing good and staying safe; from hurricane Earl.

I'm thankful we don't get hurricanes in Amarillo. I can't imagine being in a storm that powerful. It's beyond my imagination.

Does anyone know how to stop yapping dogs. Mine have been barking at air since I put them outside. I've checked on them and cannot see one thing out there. So, I've come to the conclusion that there must be something in the air..

Not much going on with the fm board. Pretty much the same posts day after day. I think some times people just need something to hang on to and don't know what.

Have a good one ya'll

Karen

If your parents never had children, chances are you won't, either.

HI Karen,

By the time Earl hits here, we should be down to a tropical storm. That being said, winds could still reach 75mph. We sure need the rain, though.

They are closing the ferries in Rhode Island and on Cape Cod tomorrow. So anyone in Nantucket either leaves tonight or there riding out the storm, literally, on the Island.

When our dogs got yappy at nothing, we would hold their snout closed for a sec and say no! Sometimes it worked others it didn't. Usually, we found the cause of their barking and felt stupid for getting irritated at them.

Are you expecting any kind of storm your way? It could be "in the air" as you have suggested.

Take care,

Kat

Ok, just checked the weather again.

Where we are, the winds should only be around 25mph and showers on Friday.

I hope we get more rain than expected. I feels like the desert here and not New England!
