Just dropping in to say hello before I get off this thing and get things done around here. I washed my living room curtains and now I need to iron them. Bad thing about that is Johnny is home, sick with a cold. I wonder why I start thing and know that it'll take forever to get them done.
Just being me.
Nothing's changed. Still not sleeping right. Have a migraine coming on but can't take my meds because of the man-child being here. They tend to knock me out. LOL! I have fallen asleep with him before and what happens while I'm out is not a pretty sight. LOL!
I remember when my daughters were about 3 and I was working nights at Owens Corning. For some reason, they were home with me and I had to stay up after working
all night - 7-7. I tried to stay awake but about 11 I feel asleep and woke up a couple of hours later to the sound of my girls laughing and having a good time. They had opened the pantry, which I didn't know they could do, climbed the shelves and had gotten a bag of cheetos. Not only were there cheetos all over the kitchen, they had them all over them, ground in the carpet, cheeto hand prints all over the walls, furniture, and me. It took hours to clean that mess and I learned a valuable lesson. Make sure you take your kids to the sitter. Every day when you're working nights so you can get some sleep.
I hope you all are having a good day.
Hugz,
Karen
If your parents never had children, chances are you won't, either.
