Oh, it's nice!! Took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to get my purchased books onto it, but finally got it. Very nice to handle, and it has a white-ish silver background with stark black letters and reading is very easy on the eyes.
Doesn't come with much on it pre-installed other than a couple of dictionaries and a welcome letter, so I was glad that I already had some to plug into it. Mine came with a charger cable, but it's a double duty one....it plugs into the wall, but the back of the plug (away from the wall) is a USB port that the actual power cable plugs into, and the other end plugs into the Kindle.
Snaps into the holder I also got at the same time, somewhat firmly....so much so that I was a little worried about bending the snaps or dinging something, but it slid on - nice and tight. The screen when you shut it off shows a picture of a famous author, or an odd book cover...it cycles through different ones, and there are PICTURES!! So if the book you get has pics, you get to see them...not in color, but B&W, but that's ok...at least you see them...my ECTACO didn't do that.
Very comfortable to use, light, and even the "little" one (6-inch) is plenty big for reading.
Even though it's too late....ME LIKE...A LOT!!

Oh, and I tried the Wireless browser to look for books too...works good...a tad slow compared to my DSL connection on the computer, but....there's no rush.

The web browser can be a curse though....you know how it goes....well, let's see if there's anything like this there....and you get to browsing the titles, and you see one that's interesting, and you look at the price, and gee, it's ONLY 5.99 or something, so you figure, what the heck....the next thing you know, you've got 50 book on it!
Oh well, it's better than sticking up gas stations I guess
