Hello to those few of you who still look in here. It's never a good sign when I look down the list of discussions here and see my face plastered all over it. *chuckle* That means there aren't many others talking here.
This community has always been quiet and usually very well-behaved so there always has been little need for a moderator here. And it's quite possible that with me gone, this community will find a way to grow itself once again. I am still with WebMD and may peek in here now and then to see how it's going, but this board will no longer be actively moderated by WebMD after this week.
That doesn't mean you have no recourse should someone post something they shouldn't. If you spot something that needs to be removed, just use the Report This option which is available below each and every post. That report goes to our moderating team and they can look into it for you and remove if necessary. Reporting something does not inform that person that their post has been reported; it just provides the moderating team the opportunity to check it out.
And you can always write to communitymanagement@webmd.net with any broader concerns or questions.
We also invite any of you who are interested in becoming a community administrator (no power to remove posts but you can put announcements up and choose to start discussions of interest, etc., though there is no pressure to do either) here, please write to communitymanagement@webmd.net and put 'Chronic Fatigue Community' in the subject line and let us know who you are and what you're writing about.
This community will remain on WebMD for you all and for any newcomers finding their way here. I truly hope it will once again thrive a bit to become a support for all who seek it.
Thanks to all of you for all the years, the caring and the humor. I'll miss looking in here on a regular basis.
