Husband understanding

Hello,
I feel so bad for all of you that are suffering with chronic pain and fibromilgia! I have been diagnosed with fibro for about 2 years now but didn't really believe it! I kept getting tests and coming up with nothing and I'm even on the Cpap machine for sleep but doesn't seem to help anymore. I am so fatiqued and in so much pain! I will keep tryng to figure out what to do about it but my other problem is just as painful.....my husband doesn't believe in fibro and sometimes I don't think he believes that I'm in that much pain or not sleeping. He says that I was sleeping when he woke up but doesn't understand that I have been up and down. I don't know if the no sleep is causing the pain or the pain is causing the no sleep. He can see in my face something is wrong but when he asks and I tell him, he just brushes it off. i don't know if it's because his ex-wife was always sick and he can't handle it or he doesn't believe me. I can't talk to him about it. I know he love me to death but i don't know how long that will last with what I'm going through.......does anyone else have this problem adding to the suffering they are already feeling. I truly need help with this. I don't have him to talk to. I did not have this problem when we got married. I was energetic, happy, own two businesses and always willing to start something new! We both have our own bikes and really enjoyed life! I don't know if I can continue on this life style and don't think that he will put up with it forever. Can anyone give me any advice? I am a 40 year old British citizen born in London England of Spanish (Spain) decent and have been suffering from CFS for over 25 years. I used to live in the US in Grand Prairie Texas near Dallas where I was married. I now live in C?diz in the south of Spain.
Sadiejoe with my story I do not want to depress you, on the contrary I would like for it to be able help you see things a little clearer. I totally sympathize with your situation as I first had to put up with the incredulity of my family and then from my wife which eventually cost me my marriage.
The important aspect of the situation is YOU, as YOU are the one who is ill and although it is understandable that your husband has difficulties understanding YOU and your condition and that of course it would be great for YOU and for all of us that our loved ones were to be supportive and understanding, as I say it is YOU who is the most important part of this situation.
Your husband needs to come on board with you situation 100%, if that is possible and understand that your condition is genuine as who would want to be in this situation if they had a choice? I say nobody.
YOU need to do your research (as I think you are doing) on doctors and treatments and try to increase your quality of life.

Since you are CPAP you should be able to get a prescription for Nuvigil. Talk to your doctor about the possibility. I was on Oxycodone for 2 years until I was diagnosed with mild apnea and only then was my insurance able to OK it. After one week, all my pain went away. It helped a little with fatigue as well. It was like a miracle for me! Nuvigil is only prescribed for sleep disorders. Give it a shot, talk to your doc.
