Over it!!!

Lottie210 posted:
I'm 18, and I have had CFS for 2 years now and it has pretty much taken over my life! I no longer have the social or sporting life I once had, nor am I am to participate at school like I once did. My CFS was triggered by a brain infection and since it started I feel like I haven't been the same since. It's really hard to find people who understand what it's like, for most don't realise what CFS truly is and always are just saying that if I'm tired I should sleep more...
I have a specialist who understands, but we are at the point where nothing else can be done, I just feel alone, trapped with this illness.
I'm just over it and want my life back!!

Hi Lottie, you are not alone. Only the people who gave gone through what you have can know what it's like, but there are plenty of us who do understand.

Have you joined forums.phoenixrising.me ? That's a really active group and you'll find plenty of support there.

Best wishes, Jesse

Hi Lottie, I understand. I have had for at least 20 years. Try to stay positive and always search for new information. Join support groups and check this site. www.ldnnow.com . This has helped me as well as others.
Happy days ahead!
