Regular Smiley face - colon and the right parenthesis

Shocked look - colon and the slash bar (/)

Goofy Icon - colon and a capital letter P

Sunglass smile - Capital B and the right parenthesis

Sunglass frown - Capital B and the left parenthesis

Big Smile - Colon and a capital "D"

There's a start for you folks.

Ok, these were stolen (blatently) from the Diabetes Board...

You can make the old emoticons by putting the word in between colons, so it would be something like putting the word goofy between the colons...then you'd get this

And then you can use eyeroll and get

sad....

crying

sealed

pbpt

chagrin

and so on...hope these help some.

Just remembered...here are a couple more words...

smile...lightsmile, and I think oops...I'll try each one next and we'll see if they all take...the first two should, just not sure on the last one.
