I was diagonised a few years ago. I was very tired, sore throat, and felt like I had a fever with muscle aches I went to my family doctor who treated me for a sinus infection. After not getting better they did blood work and told me I had MONO. This never got better, I was falling asleep at work. Had a hard time getting up out of a chair because of pain. I had lots of memory issues. The sent me to a specialist who sent gave me B 12 injections and ADP. I started to get a little better. I still have a hard time waking up and fall asleep at work. I now take Aderial only when needed. My family doctor put me on Cymbalta which has been wonderful. This has helped with depression caused from the symptons but also the muscle ache and pains. I guess you could say I am in remission but everytime I get a sore throat and no other cold or allergy issues I am concerned that my health suffer. The unfortunate problem is the price of Cymbalta. My insurance changed this year and have to pay the full price which is $440 a month. My doctor gave me a couple of month as samples but if anyone knows of a program for discount on this medicine. I dont wish this disease on anyone, most people do not understand even family. If I get this thing back I dont know if I could handle it. Good luck to everyoen.

I too have had these same symptoms for the last few years. I have been on Cymbalta and know how expensive it is! Luckily I have a plan that can take care of most of. it. I have heard sometimes the company themselves have some funds for people showing a need for their medicine. Maybe try that?
