Looking for advice
82SouthernGal posted:
Hello everyone! I am looking for a little advice. I have been TTC for many years and we have gotten pregnant 5 times. 4 ended in miscarriages and 1 in an ectopic pregnancy. We have been seeing a fertility specialist since the first miscarriage in 2008 and have had all the test ran. Everything has come back as normal but I cannot seem to stay pregnant. The doctor has even checked my fallopian tubes twice to make sure that I had no damage to my tubes, before my ectopic and after and both times nothing seemed to be wrong. The doctor has me taking 100mg of Clomid and 1000mg of Metformin. I am getting frustrated and sometimes feel like giving up because maybe I am just not meant to have children. I try to stay positive but it is difficult. I figured maybe I would try to reach out to others and see if anyone else's doctor is doing something or prescribing something other than what my doctor has that I may be able to discuss with my doctor. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have any suggestions, but wanted to just let you know to hang in there. I know it seems like you won't ever get pregnant, but there are many ladies on here who have gotten pregnant after many years of trying. Try to stay hard as that may seem at times. All the ladies on here have felt like giving up at some point in the journey. Stay positive and hang in there...
