Two days late but.....

So I did my round of Clomid this month. We baby danced like crazy and I felt good about it. Now I'm two days late and super excited but.... Since I'm late I took a pregnancy test this morning and got a BFN. WTF???? 
I'm hoping that since I O late (usually around day 17 or 18 that maybe it takes longer for the HSG to register??
I've never been pregnant so I don't know if AF is just late and do my usual pms symptoms are late too but I don't have all the usual symptoms. So I don't know.
Trying not to get too excited though.... Guess I just have to keep waiting and thinking positive thoughts that AF will not show as she is not welcome!!

Clomid can change a cycle. it can actually make it longer if you were doing 27 day cycles without Oing properly. Did you check to see when you actually O'd? I am so sorry to hear that AF showed her face. Never something we want to see but then again for some it is good to see so at least we know things are working right. Clomid can mimic the affects of pregnancy so it actually makes things harder when AF shows up since we had symptoms due to clomid and not actually pregnancy.

I put a call in to my dr to request a blood test but haven't heard back. They couldn't fit me into her schedule today either, so I guess I continue to wait... So frustrating though!

Well since you O'd late, today makes just 14dpo. So today (May 1st) is the day to expect your AF or a bfp. If AF doesn't come today, check tomorrow morning with first morning urine and hopefully it will be a bfp for you!! Clomid can make a cycle longer and AF will typically show 14dpo no matter when you O, unless you have a phase defect. So just relax and wait till tomorrow and test or talk to your dr. I have never gotten a positive test till 14dpo even with the first response early response tests. Best of luck and hopefully we will hear good results by tomorrow morning!!
