Yes i am on my first cylce of clomid and i once thought i have to be loosing my mind. My youngest is 15 and my oldest is 21, and i am playing a game giving up y freedom. Well this will be my husbands first and our first baby and its been a long time coming, omg again 15 years. Well we are taing clomid to increase our chances of conceiving and having this little bundle of joy in our lives, everyone is so excited for us and wants to share our joy. Well i began my first dosage of clomid at 50mg on 4/15- 4/19 and its was popping from 4/17 until 4/27 for us, so i am so excited and waiting. I did sneak a PT and it was negative and only a day later. Well i am going to wait until May 10 a day later to see if i get a missed period. I am feeling not like me lately i think its side effect of the clomid but will have to wait. Im very fatigue, over sleeping, headaches, bad stomach cramps, and bloating, i know its to early to tell anything but i pray it is a postive and if not Clomid second cycle will begin in May up to 100 mg ooooo, im gonna be a hotmess. well talk to you later let me know what you all thing, i enjoy and welcome positve comments please.

If everything worked properly, aka, you O'd and bed accordingly, yes you can become preggers your first cycle on clomid. When I started clomid back in 2007 to conceive our first, (I didn't O on my own) I didn't O on 50mg. But on 100mg I did. 3 out of 4 cycles on 100mg, I O'd and got preggers. Two ended in early losses (unknown why) but the third time, a beautiful boy. Clomid can mimic the symptoms of pregnancy though so be careful not to read into anything. When dealing with infertility, we seem to know every twing and detail about our cycle and can easily read into things. Just relax and enjoy the bedding. Did you check to see when you O'd (either by opk or bloodwork)? if so and you know when you O'd, you should expect AF (or the absence of AF) 14 days after then. I would recommend not testing till then so not to get an early disappointment (I have never gotten an early BFP even with the early response tests). Much luck to you and please keep us posted!!
