This will be my 3rd round on Clomid 100mg. I just had a baseline sonogram that showed that everything was ok to start round 3. I only have one Fallopian tube which half my chances to get pregnant. Sono lady told me that after this round if I'm not pregnant RE wants to schedule a consult. This is my concern, I am going away on vacations out of the country on the week that I shoul ovulate. However, we are staying with friends and their children so I'm not positive that will be able to BD that week. Should I still start the Clomid today or just take a break this month???

Thanks

Honestly? I'd start the Clomid and just hope that you have time/privacy to BD. However, if you want a worry free vacation, skip the Clomid. Sometimes a break is nice and necessary for sanity. If you think worrying about whether or not you'll be able to BD is going to ruin your vacation, then skip a month and start things over next cycle.

It's going. Today is CD 10 for me, so I finished up the Femara last night. I've started charting again. I found an ap for my smart phone, so I can just plug in all of the information first thing in the morning. I've got high hopes for this cycle. I'm hoping the Femara does the trick!

How has the femera been? Any side effects like clomid did? I know we have talked about this before, but was wondering if it got worse with another cycle.

I started the OPKs today...CD10, and am thinking I will O in the next few days! Good luck!!!

maragayle replied to ATT76's response:
Side effects aren't nearly as bad. No headaches or hot flashes. Been a little nauseous today, but I don't think it's from the Femara. The only side effect I've really had is lack of appetite...which doesn't bother me one bit!

I think the nausea is from my Metformin. The RE switched me to extended release. This is probably TMI, but recently I'd noticed I was passing the entire pill...it wasn't even partially digested! So, when I did my refill last weekend I refilled the original prescription. It's like starting from square one. You have to build up a tolerance to the medication. In the meantime everything, and I mean everything, goes straight through you. It's miserable.

The cramps are starting, so I think I should O in the next few days, too. Hopefully things work out for us both this cycle! Then we can join the pregnancy boards together.

Moving over to the pregnacy boards would be great...for both of us. I am hopeful, but not getting excited quite yet! I am always ready for disappointment even though I really want this! That would be wonderful if we could both get our BFPs this month and move over!!!

Maragayle, You might check on what kind of time release pills those are. My BP med actually has a little hole in it that the medicine comes out of. My doctor warned me it would look like the whole pill was coming out, but the medicine inside had been released. I'm glad he warned me or it would have worried me.

I have been feeling very icky today. I have a pain on the left lower side and I am thinking it might be ovulation pains, but I am nauseous too. I don't know what to think.

maragayle replied to deliela999's response:
I've read that, too, but I don't think that's the case with this extended release one. It seems to be solid all the way through. I'd rather switch back over just to be on the safe side.

I sometimes get nausea around O time, as well as the cramping. Though, I am sore from head to toe today after our motorcycle class this weekend. My neck is tender, my arms hurt, my abs hurt, my thighs, legs, calf muscles....who knows if there's O pain in there too! Good news is that I passed! Man, was I nervous, though! Until Saturday morning, I had never driven anything with a clutch....car, dirt bike, etc. Nothing at all. I think the hardest part for me was figuring out the clutch in addition to all of the other stuff you have to learn when riding for the first time. I'm looking for a little girly bike now. Something cheap to learn on and not too big! It should definitely help with commuting as far as gas is concerned!

Glad to hear you enjoyed your class. Awesome that you passed. I can't imagine how scary that would be not only learning how to drive a motocycle, but also learning how to drive a clutch! My car is a clutch, but I know that is not the same as driving a motorcycle!

I am feeling better today and even got a smiley face, so BDing tonight!

Thanks! Forgot to mention it POURED all day Sunday. We were out on the bikes from 10AM-6:30PM. We got something like 6 inches of rain! There were flood watches all over the place! Every time I had to wait my turn for an exercise I would squeeze my hands together and water would just gush out. I figure if I can pass the road test in that, I can drive in the sunshine on the road. Haha.

This month is not going to be my month. Too exhausted and sore this weekend to BD. Then DH left this morning until Thursday night. He's going to a bachelor party at a casino in CT. We got in 1-2 BDes, but are going to be skipping my ultimate fertile time, assuming I'm normal this month. Completely annoying!!!! Today is CD14, so I'll do BW next Tuesday.

Sorry to hear about the lack of BDing over fertile time! that sucks!

I guess if you can pass your test in the rain you won't have many troubles. I think riding in the rain is hard! I hate riding in the rain!!
