Hi. I was diagnosed with a mild case is PCOS at the age of 16.. i don't get periods and it is hard for me to lose weight and have little facial hair..

Baby #1: I was 19 and had been on birth control for 3 years but missed a few pills and got pregnant with my now 5 year old daughter. Got a C SECTION. Got MIRENA after I had my daughter and kept it for the full 5 years.

Baby #2: took my IUD out and have been trying for a couple months to have a baby. i have not had a period this whole time but i am not pregnant... So my Ob/Gyn is starting me on provera and clomid.... I am a little scared of what might be wrong but am hopeful I get pregnant on this first round.

Anyone with a similar story or can give me their story?

I also have PCOS, my only symptom was very irregular periods. I tried 2 rounds of provera and clomid as well as 2 rounds of provera and femara. I still wasn't ovulating. I then saw a specialist and had the ovarian drilling surgery. After that had to do the provera and clomid again. I got pregnant right away in August, but then miscarried at 12 weeks. So, I am trying again with the provera and clomid. It is hard to be positive after all this over 2 years. I keep hoping though.

Good luck with it, keep your head up!
