Last year I just used the disposable swim diapers for both kids. But this year I was thinking about trying cloth swim dipes. Does anyone use them or have any advice?

I've been wondering about this too, although my little one is due in July so I'm not sure if he'll even be big enough to swim this summer. I've seen a lot of people say that they just use an unstuffed pocket diaper and that works fine. I've also seen reusable ones at Target and BRU.

I haven't used them but they could save you some cash. Those disposable ones are expensive! The disposable swim diapers only hold poo. They urine leaks out. That's why they don't get all full like a normal disposable. Are you going to be swimming at your own pool or a public place? I ask because at home we have a tiny pool that we dump and refill daily or whenever we swim. So I would just take the kids out in some undies (before DS was PT) or a swim suit and let them swim.

I know Mother Ease sells swim diapers. They snap closed. Wee Bunz has swim diaper on their site made by Bummis that has velcro closure.

Also to Deborahann - most pedis recommend waiting until a baby is 6mos old to swim because they have a hard time with body temp or something like that. So if you're due in July he probably won't get in the pool until next year.
