All-in-one vs. Prefolds/covers

Hi all,
We are CD with our first little one who is now one month old. We started CD a week or so ago and have been using unbleached Indian prefolds with Bummis Superbrite or Super Whisper Wrap covers. At night I have been using Motherease fitted diapers with the same Bummis covers.

Things have been going great with this system, but someone gave us two of the BumGenius 3.0 one size diapers and I have started using those in the nighttime diaper rotation. I like them, but my husband LOVES them and wishes that all our diapers were BumGenius because he thinks they are so much easier. He suggested that maybe we should sell our lot of prefolds and covers and use the money to buy all BumGenius instead.

So here's my question: Has anyone else tried both of these systems and which one did you prefer in the long run? I don't mind the prefolds, but the BumGenius do seem to be really nice. What are your thoughts on using prefolds vs. an "all in one" system like BumGenius?

My stash is prefolds and BG 3.0's. When we first started, I preferred the BG's because of how similar to a disposable they were. My only dislike about them in the beginning was stuffing them. I don't know why but I hated it. Still do. Over time my preferance has shifted to prefolds. I use Thirsties covers and Bummis covers and I find that they seem to wear better over time compared to my BG's. The BG's tabs seem to attract every piece of lint/hair out there. After a while they have also started to curl up. I don't have any issues with my prefold covers. I also seem to have a stink issue with my BG inserts. The microfiber inserts are notorius for having stink issues. I wash them the same way as I wash my prefolds and I've never had a stink issue with them. Really, the only time I go for the BG's anymore is when we're out of the house. I really do prefer the prefolds.

Don't sell your stash!!!!!! I have a variety. I have 12 Mother Ease One size diapers, 12 indian pre-folds, and 16 BumGenius 3.0 diapers. I have some Mother Ease covers and a couple Thirsty covers. I like the BumGenius but prefer the Mother Ease or prefolds. Stuffing the BumGenius diapers is a major PITA to me. I hate doing it. I like to do it right after I get them cleaned and put them away all folded and pretty. But I still dislike it. I think throwing on a Mother-Ease or a prefold is so easy. I do like the BumGenius if I am using cloth while running errands or out for the day.

I was thinking of getting some AIO BumGenius diapers that are sized but didn't want to spend the extra cash. But then I found out we're having twins in August so I am thinking it will be worth it. But I have so many other diapers I am not sure. I love the idea of an AIO where there isn't a cover to attach or a insert to stuff but hate spending the extra cash.
