Along with our cloth diapers we are going to use cloth wipes to, but how many do I need? Right now I have 114, is that enough with a newborn?

I think that's plenty! I only have twelve and that was good for me when DD got a bit older. I am talking 6-12mos. You would need more than that of course with a newborns since they poo so darn much. lol

Do you use cloth wipes when your out and about or just at home? I have to use regular wipes at our daycare, but I wasn't sure about using them when I'm out of the house. I know I could use them if were at family's house, I have already purchased a couple wet bags, but wasn't sure about other places.

In general I use mostly disposable wipes. But when I am using the cloth wipes I only use them at home. To tell you the truth I don't know why I don't use the cloth wipes more. They are so much easier because you can just throw everything in the pail together. Otheriwse you're separating wipes/diaper and when it's a poop one it's nasty. I don't have a wet bag for when we're out. I would love to buy one but just never invested in one. I usually just throw them in a plastic bag but a wet bag would be a lot better.

I have purchased 2 wet bags from ebay for about 10 bucks each! I highly recommend going to ebay if you can and get them, otherwise for the brand name ones you'll pay like 20 each!! I just found a couple sellers with really good feedback and purchased them, there usually moms who make them! The cool thing is to they usually come in all kinds of really cool patterns verses the brand name ones!

use the thin baby washcloths also. You're right about them being a little repellent the first few times!

I use water with a bit of baby oil in. I like the way the bay oil smells in the warmer, and it seems to make the poop wipe off easier. I like them, and even though I sew and could make something else I don't think I'll bother. I have about 24 I use right now, and another pack I bought when a babies r u went out of business. I even have an extra warmer and some wipes I've been wanting to use to make make-up removing clothes for myself in my bathroom.
