Since this isn't totally mentally involved, and without drawing attention, i need some serious advice. Since i found out i was pregnant with my daughter in November 2010, i had suffered (which is understatement in my opinion), with severe pain, during the pregnancy it was limited to my lower back and hips which was presumed to pregnancy related, well fast forward to about May 2010, i noticed that i was experiencing tremors, and weakness in some muscles. I had my daughter at the end of June, because it was a cesection i was totally delusional that the pain was gone (because of the pain meds i was on Duh stupid me) lol. 2 weeks after i had her i noticed some stiffness in my joints, that over the next four weeks got worse, and formed into pain, i'm not talking a couple joints, i'm talking every joint in my body felt like it had sand in it, i can hear them crunching and creaking (sorry i know). Now I am 3 months almost 4 months post partum, and the pain is worse then ever, to the point its making me sick on a daily basis.
here are my issues 1) I dont have Health Ins
    2) i dont have money LOL
    3) I've been tested for Lupus, Lyme and RA, all with negative results
I've also had a CAT scan, Xray's, and Ultrasounds (on my abdomen as the pain has wiggled its way there as well).
My aggravation is this, I have symptoms of Lupus a lot of symtoms of lupus, but yet the test was negative. I'm pretty frustrated, needless the say the degree of pain i'm feeling isnt helping my depression/anxiety issues.
Have any of you dealt with anything like this? What was your outcome (if you are comfortable talking about it), what are you doing to try to manage your pain? I am extremely ticked off with this whole thing, if nothing i need gentle hugs. LOL Thanks ladies/gents for the rant.

Poor baby!.... humm well my knees and hip joints hurt like a motha too so maybe I can relate a wee bit... Can you call your OB and see what he/she might be able to suggest? Perhps it's a lack of the Jelly like goo that goes around the joints (can't remember what it's called. Are you drinking tons of water? taking Omega 3s? Glycosamine/MSM? using an anti inflammatory? ... sorry really sleepy now, but maybe one of these would help to try... how are your calcium levels?? get some more dairy into your diet .... might want to drop into the OB/Gyny board here on WebMD or the joints board or even the parents boards ... omg I am falling alseep righting this!// nite nite hon!

Hey Snowy, I hope you got some good sleep last night!

I'm taking more vitamins then i can realistically stomach lol. Omega's, Glucosamine, I went as far as stopping my Lithium so i could take Motrin (pain or sanity? LOL). I only allow myself one can of soda a day. As the ER doc put it the other night, Aside from being overweight, according to my bloodwork i'm the picture of health. My thyroid is perfect, my RBC/WBC is perfect, Cholestorol, everything is perfect. I will repost this on some other boards and see what i can get. Thanks Hun!

Well, many hugs- gentle ones of course. I can def relate to the pain and joint issues. My knees crunch and creak, and even dis locate. The pain gets to be really intolerable and it does make the depression much more immense and difficult to deal with. I am very sorry that you are going through this at all, and I hope and pray that the docs can find what it is that is wrong. Have you tried to apply for medicaid? That or state sponsored health plans may be able to help. Every state has medical assistance programs, and most counties do as well. Go to the health dept. and see what if anything is available to you. Good luck and I hope the pain gets to be tolerable and livable.

big hugs and lots of muahs sweet heart. So sorry about your pain, Im in pain 24/7 as well. friggin sucks.

    Hey Fuzzer,

At the moment i dont qualify for any state aid health insurance, i'm working on signing up for a Healthcare hardship program through our local hospital who is also associated with a bunch of specialists, All that paperwork is a huge pain though! i just finished it all, just need to make copies of things and send them out. I am also in the process of trying to get disability, i will be hopefully be able to add this "mystery" pain thing to it as well, once i get a DX for it. on the plus side, its lightened up a bit, but that might have something to do with my son gouging my eye out, and that pain ruling the other LOL.
