Ears hurt when drinking wine

Lately i have noticed that when i drink wine my ears hurt and feel like i have a head cold, not to mention they really do hurt. Is it the alcohol or do you think its something else?

I am sorry, but I don't have a clue why your ears hurt when you drink wine. Because of nerve pathways, issues in the mouth, throat, and neck all can cause pain to be referred to the ears, so this is going to require a bit of hands-on investigation to narrow down the possibilites -- not something that I can accomplish over the Internet. You will need to see your medical provider.

In the meantime, follow the old rules: If it hurts, don't do it.
