Hello everyone. I am a 29 year old female who has been dealing with the same thing for almost two months now. I have been treated for inner and outer ear infections and still feel a lot of pressure in my ears, nose and eyes. Unfortunately I have had to wait weeks to get into an ENT and will go on the 29th. The doc put me on prednisone to get me through the past couple weeks and it has helped somewhat, but today I feel like my head is a balloon and it just might fly away. My eyes have been weird and it seems to get worse on hot days. Not sure if it is connected because it was rainy today and I feel like crap too! The dizzyness drives me up the wall and I get so emotional about it that at times I feel like my heart is pounding with anxiety. This discussion board actually gave me some hope and it is nice to talk to people who are going through the same things. Please let me know if anyone has any simple remedies to help with the dizzyness as I wait to get to a specialist. I hope each of us finds a remedy and some comfort!

Nikki...there are soooo many different causes of dizziness, that there is really no way to know if you have "the same thing". Every person is uniquely different when it comes to vertigo and dizziness...there can be HUNDREDS of different causes.

Anxiety is a component that often accompanies dizziness or worsens when you have are prone to this disorder.

Unfortunately, there are no simple, home remedies that would have a beneficial response, again, since the individual causes can be so different. When your doctor prescribed the prednisone, what was your DIAGNOSIS? Was he/she treating an inner ear disorder?
