Ears hurt while excercising

never had issues with my ears before. About a year ago, I was cleaning them, and by the end of the day I was having intense pain in my ear, like an ear ache just came on. The next day it was gone. I haven't "cleaned" out my ears since, all I have done is the outside parts of them. Since then, I have started working out, have lost 30 pounds, I am doing a program that requires a lot of up and down cardio. Pushups, to jumping up, you get the picture. Since starting this, my ears start hurting really bad and afterwards they do stop. I guess my question is, on other sites, it is incinuating that it has something to do w/ my blood pressure? I also get bad excercise headaches if I don't drink a TON of water before, during, and after I drink water with a tiny bit of salt. This has helped alot. But, back to the ear situation. Could I have a build up of wax? Or could it be blood pressure and I may need to get some blood pressure drugs for when I work out? It was suggested that be done for the excercise headaches. Again, I read that on a web site. I love to excercise, but I hate having to go through all this pain. I just want to be comfortable.

Your first step is to see a medical provider so you can be properly examined and diagnosed. You cannot be blindly diagnosed over the Internet based solely on your symptoms, nor can you self-diagnose. There can be many issues at play....including some that you mentioned, such as blood pressure changes, vascular issues causing headaches, and electrolyte imbalances.

Don't guess....see a medical provider and get it checked out.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I will go to a doctor when I get insurance again.

Doctors will see you without insurance, but they will charge you. Hopefully, you will not have to wait very long for insurance.
