    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

I am having ear pain due to cold air from last 1month. I took pain killer but it not helped me. Dure to ear pan i am gettting severe pain in right temple, skull, jaw, throat. I went to ENT but there is not major problem and not even doctor is able to detect what will be the reason.. I faced issue during cold air only. Doctor sugggested me Methylprednisolone tablet for 5 days. After 1st day only i found my pain is stop , i also went in cold air and it is not paining.

what will be the reason is it related to ear nervous or musscles?.

I am very sorry, but I do not know anything about your case, your doctor's examination findings, or your diagnosis, to be able to address either question. This is something that you will need to ask your doctor -- the person who prescribed this steroid used for relieving inflammation.
