Can't breathe through my mouth
JohanneM posted:
Everytime I block my nose, I can't breathe through my mouth and it feels like my ears are going to pop, is this happening to anyone else?
Rod Moser, PA, PhD responded:
Anatomically, everyone should be able to breathe through their mouth. While humans are primarily nose-breathers, the mouth is part of the respiratory system. I am not sure what is happening in your case.
JohanneM responded:
thank you, I made an appointment with an ear, nose and throat doctor.
Jesjf replied to JohanneM's response:
My wife also can't breathe through her mouth.

Have you gone to the doctors you mentioned?

Have they found the reason you cannot breathe through you mouth?

Please post whatever you find here.

JohanneM replied to Jesjf's response:
no yet, I have an appointment in February. I will keep you posted!
