Ear ache after falling
SNAGL2TH posted:
My mother (65+) fell on her side she hit very hard. Since then she has had an intense ear ache in right ear same side she fell on. should she go have it looked at or can she treat at home?
Rod Moser, PA, PhD responded:
I think it would be good for your mother to be examined if she hit the side of her head very hard. Ear pain can be caused by many different things, including a traumatic ruptured eardrum or a mild concussion.
