Cold Sore inside the ear

Hello,
Does anyone know if you can you get a cold sore just in the opening of your ear? I broke out with small clusters - one on my chin and another on my cheek. Have a small tiny blister at the base of my lips, but also noticed one just inside the opening of my ear.

Shingles (herpes zoster) can involve the ear, and there is a condition called Ramsay-Hunt syndrome that you should read about.
