alright, so ive been looking this up. for the past day my one ear has been ringing well about an hour ago i had this weird 'vibration' like sound in my ear. i've experienced my ears ringing, just as i think everyone else has but never a vibration like sound. just curious as to what it was, and if it has ever happened to anyone else. i imagine its because i sleep with ear plugs in my ears due to the boyfriends obniouxusly loud snoring. any info, anyone?

Rod Moser, PA, PhD responded:
A vibration sound may just be a form of tinnitus (ringing) -- a condition that can have HUNDREDS of causes, so your first step is to see a good ENT and be properly evaluated.
