One of the questions an ENT doctor ask is whether I ever had any head injuries. What type of damage can occur with head injuries?

Rod Moser, PA, PhD responded:
Brain damage. Remember that the nerves of hearing go to the brain, so a serious concussion can cause hearing aberrations or deafness.

Hi Dr.

With hearing impairment due to head injuries, you mentioned brain damage. If it was the case, are there also other signs other than hearing impairment?

Hey Anon,

was your hearing loss due to head injury? If so, was it just hearing impairment or loss?
