Ever since I had an ear infection 3 years ago, my left ear has bothered me. My ear constantly feels plugged. Moving my jaw or plugging my nose only relieves the sensation for a few seconds. Additionally, I have excessive post-nasal drip. It is difficult to swallow the mucus. An environmental allergen panel revealed I don't have allergies. A PA diagnosed me with Eustachian tube dysfunction & adenoid hypertrophy. He prescribed Claritin D, Ipratropium (Atrovent) nasal spray, and a sinus rinse kit. It has been 5 months and I am still not seeing any improvement. I am desperate for a solution. What else can be done to help treat my left ear?
