Sinus infection

My daughter is 6 years old and has been prescribed amoxicillin 5ml 3 times a day. She is in public school, and I'd rather not take the medicine to the school nurse for her mid day dose. Is it safe to split the dosage up into 7.5 ml given twice a day to clear up the infection?
