    Dizzy, foggy, Uncoordinated..Frustrated
    RebeccaC17 posted:
I had intermittent dizziness for months, was prescribed Meclazine (sp?) for dizziness..and it helped, but it only covered up the problem..then I started losing balance, got lightheaded foggy and this got worse till one day I could not even speak without slurring. The problem was checked by MANY doctors..finally got Mri and cerebellum atrophy was noted. I did everything to get better! FINALLY, I was able to crete a time line that took me back to what I considered a minor head injury from wake boarding, followed by a severe flu that initiated the symptoms..I felt like I was chasing my tail and good meaning doctors were of no help..the therapy for BPPV was ineffective and I was still getting worse then better only to get worse again. After an extensive work up at Mayo clinic..I began rehab for the lack of coordination and dizziness. I overcame the peripheral nausea, cocunut oil helped clear up the brain fog, I take coq10 for overall brain health along with fit D and drink lots of fresh clean water..I am still dizzy often..and it's frustrating as hell because DOCTORS JUST DO NOT KNOW HOW OR WHAT TO DO TO FIX THIS..but I suggest that you accept you have it (whatever it is) part neurological, part overall cellular health, part mental anxiety (cause this will make you VERY anxious) and start doing daily exercises to to regain your balance. I also suggest stop drinking and start yoga, it helped me get some quality back in my life..hope this helps!
