Hi

Wanted to ask a question:

I had my routine bloodwork and the CK Total is 163. Could you tell me what this is? And if this number is bad? Looks like it supposed to be between 29-143

Thank you

Creatine Kinase, this is an enzyme that is released when muscles/tissues undergo stress. Exercise can cause increased levels, but a damaged heart can also. If your doc dint recomend any further tests you are fine. Your levels are not abnormaly high. If you drink that can be the cause as well. or if your African, they have higher levels.
