Question on name of dygnosis
An_252014 posted:
Hi, I have a quick question...I went to the doctor today who said that the pain (lump) in my lymph nodes/throat/jaw was something that started with" ego..." he is now on vacation until next week and I am wondering if anyone knows the name of this so that I am able to look it up. Thanks so much for your help!!
Rod Moser, PA, PhD responded:
It is the doctor that has an "ego" issue....he or she should be using terms that are understandable by the patient.

I am very sorry, but I don't have a clue what he meant...can't think of anything medical that starts with "ego".
Booboofatty replied to Rod Moser, PA, PhD's response:
Ok, thank you! I appreciate the answer. It was a long name which started with "ego," and I made the mistake of not writing it down.
