Bad Sore Throat
An_252413 posted:
I have had a bad sore throat that has lasted between 10 - 12 days now. I went to the doctor two days ago and they told me it was a viral infection and there is nothing they can do.

I can barely swallow and the pain is strong on the left side of the opening to my throat and on my uvula (sp). I also have some pain in my left ear and my left lymph node is slightly swollen. Can anyone help me diagnose the problem or let me know possible treatments to get better soon?

This sore throat is ruining my summer.
