    Some sort of throat injury
    Sharky0922 posted:
On Wednesday I was eating sunflower seeds all through the night and stayed up til almost 4. As it got later and later I could feel my throat becoming more and more in pain. Now it's early morning on Sunday and I can't get to sleep because of the pain. I have been gurgling salt water for days, sleeping early, and I have been using cough drops, Advil, and some cherry flavored throat spray in an attempt to get rid of this. My parents have been refusing to go tithe doctors because they have one through "much worse" but whatever I have is progressively getting worse, more painful, and has even started hurting my ears when I swallow. I don't even know what it is but my throat is in a lot of pain, I have area that look like zits, and when those are poked they pop and bleed, but I'm not seeing all of the streaking, stripes, or dots found when you have strep throat. What is it, how do I treat it, and is it possible to do so without going to the doctors because my parents are claiming I'm being a hypochondriac.
